Connect with your creativity at this unique five-day workshop. Daily yoga will bring you stillness and calm and help access the many stories within you. Creative writing sessions - centred around guided freewriting and constructive, supportive feedback - will build your skills to write with freedom and ease. Improvisation classes will open you to spontaneity and confidence in your creative expression.
SARAH ARMSTRONG
Sarah Armstrong is an author, journalist and writing teacher. Her first novel - 'Salt Rain' - was shortlisted for the 2005 Miles Franklin Literary Award, the Queensland Premier's Literary Award and the Dobbie Award for a first novel by a woman. 'Salt Rain' is also published in North America.
Sarah worked for the ABC for eight years where you may have heard her on radio programs such as AM, PM and The World Today, and where she won a Walkley Award. She teaches writing and runs Writing and Yoga workshops and retreats. A keen and long-time yoga practitioner, Sarah finds yoga a powerful way to unlock her creativity.
